La camera di conteggio del plancton è uno strumento ideale per quantificare particelle e microrganismi in 1 ml di acqua o altri liquidi trasparenti. Progettata specificamente per accogliere grandi quantità di zooplancton, questa camera presenta un blocco di plexiglas con scanalature lavorate con precisione e un fondo lucidato, che garantisce un'eccezionale trasparenza. Grazie alle loro dimensioni compatte, queste camere possono essere utilizzate senza problemi con gli stereomicroscopi.

Caratteristiche del prodotto
- La camera 50 x 20 x 1 mm (= 1 cm3) è graduata con una maglia di 1 mm che suddivide 1 ml in 1000 μl.
- Fornito con un coprioggetto di circa 60 x 30 x 1 mm.
- Il reticolo non è necessario per molte applicazioni, soprattutto per i metodi APHA e per l'analisi di specie di plancton di grandi dimensioni.
- È adatto all'uso con microscopi convenzionali e invertiti. - Può essere utilizzato in combinazione con i micrometri oculari.
Precauzioni
- Se la biomassa è troppo grande, si può prima diluire il campione, poi aggiungere una soluzione fissativa (formaldeide o soluzione di iodio di Lugol), quindi eseguire il campionamento e il conteggio.
- Ci sono bolle d'aria sotto il vetro di copertura; acquistare un piccolo vetro di copertura e posizionarlo nell'area di conteggio, oppure evitare le bolle d'aria e non contare.
- Non strofinare vigorosamente con panni grossolani o altri oggetti duri come spazzole, per non danneggiare l'area di conteggio del telaio di conteggio;
- Non pulire con un panno morbido e soffice. A causa della sua elevata trasparenza, è facile vedere i capelli appiccicosi su di esso. Asciugare con un panno morbido, ad esempio un panno a specchio.
- Dopo aver utilizzato la scatola per il conteggio, sciacquarla con acqua pulita, asciugarne la superficie con un panno per la pulizia e riporla in una scatola per la conservazione.
- Non immergerla direttamente in solventi organici o alcol.
